Rebuild trust among individuals and businesses by combining people, network and technology in a way that has never been done before.
Credentials are personal. We founded Wault because a friend of ours, away on business for a few months, returned to find her home had been sold and her finances ransacked by an imposter who had been living as her, in her home, the whole time. How could this happen!
As seasoned technologists in finance, we found out how — and more importantly, we saw that the system of digital credentials we all live within and rely on was broken. The world needed a solution, to rebuild trust and make sure nothing like what happened to her can ever happen again.
So we built Wault and created the
Wault Platform.
We believe in open architecture and work with the leading industry groups and entrepreneurs pushing the boundaries of credentials security and authentication. Wault is ready for tomorrow, for the next iteration of the web when it arrives — but we’re also ready today, securing credentials in a growing number of industries and building out a critical mass of members on our network.
Our core team includes a chief systems architect, cloud and full-stack developers, software developers, and specialists in quality assurance, data analysis, program management and marketing. And we’re all focused on one thing: securing credentials for good.

Co-Founder/CEO
A serial software entrepreneur, Liwen has founded two software ventures. A former Morgan Stanley executive, she offers 25 years of IT experience in managing global scale products and platforms.
Eli Yaacoby
Co-Founder/CTO
A senior IT executive, software architect and developer for over 25 years, Eli headed enterprise applications for a $160B+ hedge fund. As a former Morgan Stanley executive, he led their web infrastructure group, and also served as lead developer for the first online banking system of Citibank.

Mike Critelli
Mike served as the Chief Executive Officer at Pitney Bowes Inc., where he led the company’s focus on emerging opportunities in the external environment, including postal reform and mailing industry transformation in the United States, Europe and Asia-Pacific. He is also an executive producer of a full-length feature film, From the Rough (2014).
Dan Gottfried
Dan Gottfried is a partner at Hinckley Allen, a multiservice law firm, where his practice encompasses structuring, negotiating and documenting business deals and investment transactions throughout the United States and around the world. Mr. Gottfried represents a variety of business entities, particularly entre- preneurial businesses, private investment funds and family office investors.
Marianne Mathieu
A 20+ year veteran in the real estate settlement industry Marianne has held a variety of roles. As a national agency account manager with Fidelity National Title Group - a member of the Fidelity National Financial (NYSE: FNF) family of companies and the nation’s largest group of title companies and title insurance underwriters, Marianne works with multistate title insurance/settlement agencies in both the commercial and residential sectors.

Eddie Oddo serves as Vice President, Business Solutions for First American Title Insurance Co., a Fortune 500 Title Insurance and Settlement Services provider. He is responsible for the vision, development and implementation of strategic, digital initiatives. With nearly 25 years of industry experience, Eddie is recognized as a digital transformation thought leader in the real estate settlement and mortgage industries.
Amit Gavish
Amit is a seasoned business executive with experience in all phases of start-ups’ life cycle. As a former GM at BriefCam, he led the U.S. activities from pre-revenue stage through a successful acquisition by Canon. Amit had advised many start-ups to establish and grow their U.S. presence. In recent years, he expanded his work to support start-ups with strategic business development, M&A and raising capital. Amit’s focus remains on dual-use technologies for both the public and private sectors.
Meir Shachar
Meir Shachar is a Managing Director of ISTEC – an Israeli technology and advisory firm in the field of cyber security, threat intelligence, and data loss prevention. Meir is also an advisor to The Win Systems Group, a multinational enterprise specializing in large SCADA-type central systems for national and state lotteries as well as gaming operations.
